This is the one place for everything about your data on StubGuys: what we hold, how to get a copy, how to delete it, and how to control cookies and marketing. Every right on this page is self-serve — you do not need to email anyone or wait for a support queue, though you can always reach us at privacy@stubguys.com too.
Your Rights at a Glance
Wherever you live, we give you the same set of controls: access (download everything we hold about your account as one file), deletion (permanently remove your account and personal data, with a 30-day change-your-mind window), consent (optional cookies are off until you turn them on, and withdrawing is one click), and marketing choices (marketing email is opt-in, never opt-out). If you're in a region with formal privacy rights — GDPR, UK GDPR, CPRA and similar — these controls are how you exercise them.
Get a Copy of Your Data
Signed in, go to Settings → Privacy & Data and press Download. You get one JSON file, immediately, covering your profile, orders and tickets, refunds, waitlists, favorites, notifications, wallet history, community posts, the chat messages you sent, photos and ratings you added, support tickets, your privacy-request history, and — if you organize events — your events, payouts and campaigns. Other people's identifiers are redacted: you get your data, never someone else's. Ticket QR secrets and payment credentials are excluded on purpose; they are keys, not records about you.
Delete Your Account & Data
Signed in, go to Settings → Password & Security and choose Delete Account(it sits with the sign-in controls because we re-confirm it's really you first). Deletion is scheduled, not instant: you have 30 days to change your mind by simply signing back in, and then your personal data is permanently erased — profile, messages, posts, photos, uploads, devices, the lot. What survives is only what the law requires us to keep: completed transaction records (orders, tickets, payouts) for the statutory financial retention period. Organizers with live events choose between refunding attendees now or deleting after their events end. The step-by-step version, including what happens if you signed up with Facebook, is on the data deletion page.
Cookies & Tracking
Optional cookies are off until you opt in, we honor the Global Privacy Control signal, and withdrawing consent actively deletes the cookies it covers — including the third-party advertising pixel cookies (Meta, Google, TikTok) that can appear on events whose organizer connected their own pixel. Every cookie we use is named, with its purpose and lifetime, in the Cookie Statement.
Marketing Choices
Marketing email is opt-in — silence means you don't get it. Transactional messages (your tickets, refunds, event changes) are always on because they are the service itself. Fine-tune everything in Settings → Notifications.
