StubGuys is committed to making event ticketing accessible to everyone — including people who use screen readers, navigate by keyboard, have low vision, or experience cognitive differences. This page describes our current features and what we're still working on.
Accessibility features
The following features are built in:
- Full keyboard navigation — every action accessible via Tab, Enter, Esc, arrow keys.
- Screen reader optimized — proper ARIA labels, semantic HTML, landmark regions.
- High color contrast — minimum 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text.
- Resizable text — works at up to 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Reduced motion — animations respect
prefers-reduced-motion. - Focus indicators — clear visible focus rings on all interactive elements.
- Form errors — clear, descriptive, in plain language.
- Skip links — jump past navigation directly to main content.
How we test
- Automated — axe-core runs on every pull request, blocking merges that introduce a11y issues.
- Manual keyboard testing — every new feature is tested without a mouse before shipping.
- Screen reader testing — internal spot-checks with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- External audits — not yet performed; a formal third-party accessibility audit is planned.
- User testing — sessions with assistive-technology users are planned as the product matures.
Known issues
We're transparent about what's still imperfect:
- The map view on Events has limited keyboard support — rebuild planned for Q3 2026.
- Some older organizer-uploaded images don't have alt text. We're contacting organizers to add them.
- The QR code on tickets is decorative for screen readers; the booking ID is the accessible alternative.
Recommended assistive technology
- Screen readers: NVDA 2024+, JAWS 2024+, VoiceOver (iOS 16+, macOS 13+)
- Browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — latest 2 versions
- Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Apple Voice Control
- Magnification: ZoomText, browser zoom up to 400%

Human Rights Statement
StubGuys exists to bring people together — to help organizers build event businesses and to help attendees find their people and keep those connections. That mission only means something if the platform, the company, and the supply chain behind it respect fundamental human rights.
Our Commitment
StubGuys LLC is committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the International Labour Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We apply this commitment to our employees and contractors, our marketplace of organizers and attendees, and our suppliers.
In Our Workplace
We provide equal opportunity, prohibit discrimination, harassment, forced labor, and child labor, respect freedom of association, and maintain safe working conditions.
On Our Platform
Our Community Guidelines prohibit hate speech, exploitation, child endangerment, dangerous organizations, and harmful misinformation, and our Trust & Safety processes pair proactive detection with human review and a right of appeal. Our privacy program minimizes data collection, isolates tenant data, and gives users control — including full control over StubConnect visibility and connections. Our anti-gouging, face-value-only resale policy reflects the same principle: access to live experiences should be fair.
In Our Supply Chain
Our Supplier Code of Conduct requires suppliers to uphold these same standards — lawful compensation, freedom of association, no forced or child labor, safe workplaces, and non-discrimination — and to monitor their own subcontractors. We assess suppliers on these commitments and act on violations, up to termination.
Looking Forward
We will review this Statement periodically as the company grows, deepen human-rights due diligence in vendor selection, and report material issues to leadership. Concerns may be raised — confidentially and without retaliation — at compliance@stubguys.com.
Supplier Code of Conduct
StubGuys LLC is committed to dealing fairly and honestly with all suppliers, vendors, contractors, and their subcontractors ("Suppliers"), regardless of their location or the products and services they provide. In turn, we expect every Supplier to meet the standards in this Supplier Code of Conduct ("SCoC"). This SCoC supplements, and does not replace, Supplier contracts, including the Data Processing Addendum for Processors and Sub-Processors.

Monitoring and Reporting Concerns
Suppliers must notify StubGuys immediately of any violation of this SCoC at compliance@stubguys.com, and must monitor their own subcontractors' compliance. Reports may be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation. StubGuys may audit compliance with this SCoC on reasonable notice, and material violations are grounds for termination of the relationship.
