StubGuys started as a weekend hack to help our friend's small comedy shows take payments without 30% fees. Five years later, we're still building toward the same goal — but with a much bigger team.

A weekend project
Two friends build a simple ticketing tool to help small organizers escape predatory platforms. Launches with 3 events.

First 1,000 organizers
Word of mouth grows the platform faster than expected. We hire our first 5 employees and open a public beta.

Launching internationally
StubGuys expands to the UK, Canada, and Australia. We add multi-currency support and localized payment options.
