This page explains how to delete your StubGuys account and the personal data associated with it, including any information StubGuys received when you signed in with Facebook, Google, or Apple. It is part of, and consistent with, our Privacy Policy.
Overview
StubGuys LLC ("StubGuys," "we," "us") lets you create an account to discover events, save favorites, follow organizers, and manage your tickets. If you no longer want a StubGuys account, you can ask us to delete it and the personal data we hold about you. We honor deletion requests in line with applicable data-protection laws.
How to Request Deletion
You can delete your StubGuys account and associated personal data in either of these ways:
- Self-serve (fastest). Sign in and go to Settings → Password & Security → Delete Account — on the mobile app, Settings → Delete account. You confirm it's you, and deletion is scheduled immediately with a 30-day grace window: sign back in any time before then and your account is fully restored. Want a copy of your data first? Download it from Settings → Privacy & Data before you delete.
- By email. If you can't sign in (for example, you've lost access to your login), send a request to privacy@stubguys.com from the email address associated with your StubGuys account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
To protect your account, we take reasonable steps to verify that a deletion request comes from you before we act on it — self-serve deletion re-confirms your password or sign-in provider, and email requests are verified against the account's address.
Deleting Facebook Login Data
If you created or accessed your StubGuys account using Sign in with Facebook, the only information StubGuys received from Facebook is your name, email address, and public profile (including your profile picture). We use this solely to create and identify your StubGuys account. StubGuys does not post to Facebook and does not access your Facebook friends, photos, posts, or any other Facebook data.
To delete the data StubGuys obtained through Facebook Login, submit a deletion request using either method in the section above. Deleting your StubGuys account removes this information as described below. You can also remove StubGuys' access to your Facebook account at any time in your Facebook settings under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites; removing the connection there stops future sharing but does not by itself delete data already held by StubGuys, so please also submit a deletion request to us.
What Gets Deleted
When your deletion completes, we delete or irreversibly anonymize the personal data associated with your account, including:
- Your account profile — name, email address, profile photo, and any preferences.
- Authentication records created when you signed in (including via Facebook, Google, or Apple), and the push-notification device registrations for your account.
- Account activity tied to your profile — saved favorites, followed organizers, waitlist entries, notifications, and identity-verification records.
- Content you created — community posts, the chat messages you sent (your name is removed from conversations; the other person's own messages remain theirs), photos you added to event memories, and your event ratings.
- Files you uploaded, and support tickets you filed.
Some records are retained for a limited period only where the law requires it — completed financial and transaction records (orders, tickets, payouts, wallet ledger) are kept for the statutory retention period, and are then deleted. Where we retain such records, they are kept solely for that legal purpose and are not used for any other reason. Full retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.
Timeline & Confirmation
Self-serve deletion is scheduled immediately and becomes permanent after the 30-day grace window (organizers who choose "delete after my events end" start their window once their events conclude). Email requests are confirmed on receipt and completed within the timelines required by applicable law — typically within 30 days. We email you when deletion is scheduled and you can see the status under Privacy & Data → Your privacy requests until the account closes.
